Part I spoke about seeing the corruption, Part II spoke about reporting it (in the face of artificial obstacles), and Part III dealt with how to challenge it (we've just attempted to get more Europeans to contact their representatives about it).
Today we'll continue reporting on EPO affairs. It won't stop any time soon. It can go on for weeks, months, maybe years.
A couple of months ago (a bit more than 2) the EPO's top-level management got busted in a drug bust. The media refuses to talk about it (mainstream journalists tell me they know it's true, but their supervisors are afraid/reluctant to publish anything about it).
Recently, one reader told us about Berenguer, who made the "mistake" of using cocaine in the open market. Berenguer is the person who has managed (silenced, bribed etc.) the media for many years.
"This manipulative hypocrite," said the reader, "likes to paint himself as some sort of a "White Knight", claiming to push diversity and championing women, while he at the same time enjoys embarrassing his favourite victims (yes, almost exclusively women) in front of others. In classic macho fashion, he pressurizes women into working harder and harder, using fear up to the point where they break and cry publicly, while men usually get to know his softer side, often with a colloquial pat on the back. This style of communication has been established by him together with Campinos. To put himself in a feminist light, Berenguer often proudly poses with his wife and two daughters (yes, that was his daughter wearing the dirndl in the pic you posted some time ago), or talk about diversity in his daily propaganda work, while in reality management is highly male-dominated and important decisions are always taken by men, a culture of which he is an integral part of."
