Open question for all: In one sentence and from your point of view: Define how you see the current state of the world today.

Historians are going study us and think we’re all idiots. · 5 months ago

Time of the end and turbulant changes before the renewal comes. · 5 months ago

My honest opinion? On the large scale (government, wars, big tech, the environment, etc.), things are not the worst they've ever been, but they're not good. On the small scale (local communities, self improvement among my peers, people detoxing from big tech, etc.), I think things are actually pretty decent, and at least in my location and among my circles, they're improving. · 5 months ago

I live in a very, very rural area, so I live almost like in another world. Anything happening outside barely affects me at all. I don't need gas, I produce my own electricity, I produce my own food and are being gifted food from neighbours, I don't need/want to travel, I earn money in cash selling my own produce. So... I guess the world is fucked up? · 5 months ago

I'm a bird that's been caged

A dancing bear made to perform

A slave to the system to which I was born

I'll run while it suits

Growing stronger with time

But one day I'll turn like a wolf

FREEDOM will be mine! · 5 months ago

Unfortunately I'd have to agree with the majority who've already commented and say everything is well and truly fucked. Things need a major readjustment and that's rarely if ever happened without a significant amount of pain, suffering and blood spilled. It seems to me WW3 is largely been hyped as a certainty (and steps taken to escalate) so much to distract from the present internal issues and the threat of civil uprisings in many parts of the world. People are sick of trying their best and getting continually fucked over by the powers that be. · 5 months ago

more good things than bad things happen, but so few are paying attention to the good things. admittedly, the pain of a new world order being born is showing. · 5 months ago

Everything's fucked and, at this point, I don't expect things to improve whatsoever until I've got white hair and a cane. · 5 months ago

The current state of the world today is worse than some people think, and better than some other people think. :) · 5 months ago

I see it as deeply unjust and bleak.

My generation sort of grew up with the bias that society will constantly improve and evolve, however it has never been as obvious to me as now that indeed it's a bias (or thoughts fallacy). · 5 months ago
