In adding very awful text input facilities for my crappy gemini client, I accidentally made a primitive gemtext editor. I know this doesn't mean much to anybody else but it really tickles my inner dork to see emergent functionality show up by accident in even simple programs. kthxbye

I appreciate the technical hurdles, but it is very silly that so many capsule/gemlog hosts require a normal www website to make posts. Nobody has accomodated the input limit, really? that seems preposterous to me! I would very much prefer to be able to use gemspace without having to leave the ecosystem and go somewhere else to continue interacting with gemdspace. kthxbye

I just read an article the other day about the significance of the "www" subdomain in urls and I found it in the wild soon after. I couldn't figure out why "https://somesite.com" was giving an error but if I searched in a search engine for it, it came up just fine when I clicked. I forgot the www! what's the word for that, when you read or watch something then suddenly notice it happening as if by magic?

Does anybody know if bbs.geminispace is closed to new users?? I can't seem to get cert registration to work, it just keeps telling me that the username is taken, regardless of what is entered. This is both with a homebrew client and with lagrange. please and thank you.

I hate the dracula color scheme but it infests every search I do for "vim color schemes". Please die
