Mormons like to make a big fuss about how AC Doyle apologized for the way he treated them in his books. Given I know a bunch, it seems like he nailed it. Anyways, fun if predictable read. Really enjoy Victorian stories.

Stories from the 1800s are quite something. They've done a lot to establish tropes and habits in our modern literature, so it's always a fun read to check how they've handled the topics back then.

I haven't read Doyle but I've had a go at the classics like Frankenstein, Dracula, a bunch of Poe's works and a bit or Arthur Machen too. And the odd old novel from my country too.
