I started to migrate my blog from wordpress. I think I will return to my internet beginnings and do it html-ftp-style with a touch of dithered images.

Do it! I miss doing blogupdates via ftp. It was fiddly and I loved it. I wrote a whole site in notepad.exe back in the day :) I did like frontpage98 because it could dynamically change hyperlinks in documents if the filename changed. That was useful. · 2 months ago

Thre's some nice dithering services online, but I already started to use some application I found in Ubuntu apps. Not the best, imho. If anyone knows good ubuntu apps I am interested as well. · 2 months ago

Whenever I check my website's access logs, all of the random drive-by hacking attempts are to non-existent WordPress locations, lol. It's probably a very good idea to stay away from it, from a security perspective. :) · 2 months ago
