I finished reading The Road by Cormac McCarthy yesterday. Beautiful book, very painful to read. It immediately went into my list of favourites.

@bavarianbarbarian I agree, I love both the movie and the book and they feel very "realistic" in the observation of human nature.

Alao, with the effects of climate change now being so obvious, the novel also feels more like a good prediction than a thought exercise. · 1 year ago

I fscking love the book/movie, that's how the apocalypse will really look like, not like madmax or whatever... we will kill us for a can of beans or a pair of shoes or even a bottle of water. · 1 year ago
