I have a Misfin address: melyanna@hashnix.club

I waited a long time to get one because I was thinking of self hosting, but I am unable to do that for now, so here it is, hosted by hashnix.club.

@pps did you find what you needed at the link? I hope it helped. · 5 months ago

@pps the best link I can point you to is auragem. This page documents the server, client, and also recommends hosting option. A link to the hashnix.club misfin registration page is near the bottom.

I wonder that TLS is required for misfin, recently opened this thread on BBS:

gemini://bbs.geminispace.org/s/misfin/29611

Thoughts run my own server on Yggdrasil, but the TLS feature is not really wanted in my case, it is also does not provide sender-server-recipient encryption like Tutanota/ProtonMail, because server wants private key.

So I'm not sure about this protocol, just interesting to try on hashnix.club

My messages are not encrypted there, it's sad. · 5 months ago

@melyanna could you please share the link to instruction, I can't find.

for me, sometimes it's simpler to run own server than find something in plain text.. · 5 months ago

@pps it does! This is a bit silly but I am actually excited about checking my mailbox and getting messages. Feels like the early 90s again. :) · 5 months ago

@melyanna does hashnix.club provide a user interface for the misfin mailbox? If yes, I would like it too! · 5 months ago

@yamato thank you! And well received. :) · 5 months ago

@pps I will look into it, but it might take me a while to figure it out as a non technical person. Or maybe not. I had heard of Yggdrasil ages ago I think, I am surprised to see it re-surface. · 5 months ago

Try Yggdrasil network, you can host your own server there over NAT.

But the mailbox will be accessible for this network only. The IPv6 range is 0200::/7. · 5 months ago
