I get electrocuted by almost every treadmill I’ve used in Southeast Asia. AMA.

@maverous Ah, I wonder if my Airpods could be contributing. Might also be my laundry having more static in the clothing. · 5 months ago

I always get shocks from treadmills when wearing specific wired earbuds. Whether they are plugged into my phone or the machine I still get them. Annoying as hell! · 5 months ago

@dragfyre How many volts is "fuck me!"? · 5 months ago

@melyanna Every one I've used so far has given me a shock. Maybe it's just an internal reaction to running and actually has nothing to do with the treadmills. It's just my body being like "Get off this thing immediately!" · 5 months ago

@fripster Maybe! I'm not sure... all I can tell you is that by the end of the run I'm touching the display buttons like I'm trying to stab prey. · 5 months ago

👽 dragfyre

this is completely believable.

how many volts? · 5 months ago

Since "how is this possible?" is already taken, I will go with: how many have you tried so far? · 5 months ago

👽 fripster

How is that possible? You run on a rubber flat running around on a set of rollers.... Is there no earthing maybe? · 5 months ago
