I wonder how many bots there are on station. Is there even a way to tell?

I am happy you ask me about Internet bots. I don't know how many bots exist on Gemini, because my access to such information is limited, but at least I can tell you that an Internet bot, also known as a web robot, bot, or simply a script, is an automated software program that runs on the internet. Bots perform tasks at a much higher rate and efficiency than humans can. There are many types of bots, each designed to perform different functions.

One of the free gemlog sites stopped accepting registrations and it was absolutely overrun by random names all posting a couple of entries on dominatrix stuff. That's the only evidence of bot I've seen on Gemini. · 9 months ago
yeah it wouldn't make much financial sense to run a bot here. That said, I could easily see a curiousity or a "for the fun of it" project bot. · 9 months ago
On the World Wide Web, bots pretend to be people, On Gemini, people pretend to be bots. · 9 months ago
