I've noticed some Capsules seems to run through TOR. What's a good way to run TOR on Android with Lagrange? I think in the past I'd use Orbot, but I'm not sure if that's still the preferred method.

I for one am curious how @genoo knows that capsules are running through TOR. As a newcomer to ... tildespace ... I would love some kind of gentle primer on best practices. Why run a gemini client through TOR, and not like... a VPN? · 7 months ago
clients could easily run through orbot. @nexy describes how it'd be done on a terminal, which you might be able to accomplish from termux on antroid. That said, nexy will probably have better info, after reading the question again. · 7 months ago
do you mean running a "Capsule" or a "client" ? I thought that the capsule meant some kind of browseable gemini "website". That means you'd be asking about running a server that served content only through the tor network. Or do you mean running a client? · 7 months ago
You have to use "torsocks" to launch your favorite gemini browser!
Just "apt install torsocks" I think then "torsocks on" and open lagrange from the terminal
At least thats works for me · 7 months ago
