"Scheduled maintenance is currently in progress," said the webhost a few hours ago. "We will provide updates as necessary."

We actually warned about this a couple of weeks in advance.

This work was completed 3 hours ago, apparently. "The scheduled maintenance has been completed," they said.

Throughout the day today there were temporary and sporadic timeouts on some requests, but not a full outage. This was partly expected, but not desirable.

At the end of next week stability will be the aim. To quote: "In line with many of our suppliers, we will be entering into an engineering change freeze during the holiday period. This will minimise the risk of any issues during this busy time of year for our customers and while we have reduced levels of staff. The change freeze will run from Friday the 19th December 2025 at 9am until Monday the 5th January 2026 at 9am." █
