●● Almost a Week Later Invidious Instances Still Down, Broken, or Shouting Out for Help Because Google/YouTube Lawyers and Other Staff Wage a War on Free Software

Invidious instances are gasping for air and shouting/calling for help this evening (screenshots taken minutes ago; there are a couple more here):

Many instances are offline already.

Even Wikipedia is targeted now (they try to delete the very existence of Invidious or information about it, just like Stalin would do):

Summary: Invidious instances are being roundup up and shot in the neck by the Google Gulag; it’s time to say goodbye to YouTube, as Invidious among other access points will be under relentless attacks

AS we noted a few days ago, it’s time for Free software supporters and freedom proponents in general to boycott YouTube. Google (or YouTube) is proactively hostile because it wants to impose [1] brainwashing and push add-ons [2-3]. YouTube is not free hosting. It’s neither free for creators nor is it free for viewers. YouTube is junk. It’s time to abandon it. Maybe use some legacy tools to access old YouTube material, but definitely look for another place (more information in the 10 links at the bottom). █
