Summary: The video above shows empirical evidence that Microsoft openwashing and false “engagement” are being used to make money by diluting the brand “Linux”
THE Linux Foundation is a scam and it’s managed by career frauds [1, 2]. There’s a lot at stake because many people wrongly call the GNU/Linux operating system just “Linux” and this foundation is taking control of GNU, too. That’s almost like Microsoft and other GPL violators taking control of the thing they’re attacking.
“Google seems to be fine with YouTube channels where ~95% of the “views” are clickfraud.”
The video above shows how the so-called ‘Linux’ Foundation misleads people in social control media, with focus on Twitter and YouTube. Sometimes it is done indirectly (outsourcing to Jono Bacon and SPAMnil [1, 2, 3], among others). Sometimes it’s done more directly and blatantly. It’s crystal clear that the so-called ‘Linux’ Foundation violates the terms of service (ironic because they fancy mentioning the Code of Conduct) by selling tweets, but how about all those fake followers/subscribers? Are they immune from action? Are rules applied uniformly and consistently against corporate front groups such as the so-called ‘Linux’ Foundation? And if not, what does that tell us?
We did a video about this before in relation to SPAMnil in particular. Google seems to be fine with YouTube channels where ~95% of the “views” are clickfraud. █
