AZURE was down for a whole day not so long ago, but how about this from the news?

• Windows Live Hotmail Suffers Temporary Outage

Microsoft has confirmed officially that Windows Live Hotmail suffered a temporary outage, but indicated that the issue was resolved. And indeed at this point in time, the service is up and running with no problems whatsoever. Various users have started reporting not being able to sign in to their accounts, and the fact that they received messages informing them that their inbox was gone.

Microsoft has said sorry to users of its Windows Live Messenger service after it sent out a missive yesterday wrongly instructing people to change their email addresses.

Apple is not without its flaws, either. Also in the news:

• Apple admits cracked Macbooks

Meanwhile Apple fanboys have been flooding us with cries that Macbook cases should be cracked and in two year’s time Dell will be following the trend.

By “cracked” they mean physical cracks. Apple’s hardware quality is the subject of much debate these days. █
