Linux Amateur Radio
Here is a collection of tips for using Amateur Radio[1] on Linux[2].
Pages Here
- Linux Packet Radio[3]
- Voice on the SignaLink USB with Linux[4]
* Includes a section on automatic CQ calling for contests, which is for a SignaLink USB, but could be easily adapted for other devices
Mailing Lists
(Hams appear to call these "reflectors")
- linux-hams[5], the primary general mailing list for Linux ham discussion. Readers are generally fairly knowledgeable about Linux technically. Also has discussion about AX.25 development.

- Voice on the Signalink USB With Linux[6]
I (John Goerzen[7] / KR0L) wanted to use my
SignaLink USB[8] for voice
keying during contests and the like. I use
Linux for Amateur Radio[9],
and so a natural thought would be using shell scripts for this.
- Amateur Radio[10]
Amateur radio is a radio service in which people are allowed and encouraged to build their own radios, antennas, and so forth. It can be used to communicate all around the globe without any intervening infrastructure such as satellites or cables.
