Re: "Decent affordable earbuds?"
In: u/stack

I have a pair of soundcore open ear earbuds. Sound quality is good, the open ear design means nothing goes in your ear, and they're comfortable enough that I forgot I'm wearing them. I was initially worried they'd be prone to falling out, but that's never been a problem.

I was also worried that the open ear design would make for worse sound quality, but they sound good.

The pair I got (v20i, I think) was only $25.

My only complaint is that they're 100% wireless. They hold a charge for a long time and charge fast, and I've never had issues getting them connected to anything, so that hasn't been a real problem in practice. but I'd still prefer the option to plug them in sometime.

They also let outside sound in a lot, being open ear. That was a selling point for me because it let's me hear cars when I'm walking or cycling, but if you use earbuds to block out background noises, open ear might not be for you.

Decent affordable earbuds? — Do you have any suggestions from personal experience? I used to hate things stuck in my ear, but since the onset of COVID learned to appreciate them, and they no longer bother me. My first -- and best cheap earbuds were (2020 or so) CCZ Yinyoo Melody for $20, which were by far the best! I wish I understood that and was more careful, but at some point the cable broke and I thought they were disposable, and now can't find them... Since then, I tried to replace them...
