This is useful, for example, if others had copied your content and claim it is their original work. Due to timestamps you can always proof that you securely published *your* content.

Hi, the Onion Courier Tor Hidden Service Mixnet is in service with currently five mix nodes. At a later date a GUI client will be available and a Usenet and email gateway. [https link] Please note: When doing pings with the CLI client and you see fora mix node n/a this mostly means that timeouts occured during the connection to a Tor Hidden Service, but does not mean that the mix node is down.
