So, a moment ago, I just deleted a post of mine that asked why I was getting notifications for posts that have polls in them, even though I wasn't following them. It turns out that the answer to this is that there is an option on the notification settings page for exactly this! [gemini link] Notification settings page Simply untick the "New poll is posted" option if you don't want to be notified of new polls.
