Harold and the Purple Prion — Harold has lost a lot of weight, and his hands are shaking. He has trouble sleeping. Soon after, he experiences the onset of severe, rapidly progressing dementia and falls into a deep catatonic sleep. In his dreams, he sets off on an imaginative adventure, creating everything he needs— a moonlit path, a forest, a boat, and even a picnic along the way. As Harold explores, he faces small challenges yet always finds creative solutions by imagining his way out....
