OFFLPHIRSOCH is an annual, month-long, non-competitive exercise challenging denizens of the smolnet to write and share a piece of software which works as well offline as it does online, as pushback against the trend of assuming that computers have internet connectivity 24/7 and the demeaning of powerful personal computers by treating them as dumb clients which ask corporate oracles for help with even the most trivial of problem.
