The alternative to living in the shed is slavery, or so it seems to me. Indentured to somebody else mortgage. The Opposite of slavery is freedom, not idleness, and freedom is what my shed represents. Freedom to work, and work hard, on things that matter to me. Freedom to be paid badly to do things well. Freedom to refuse to do bad things just because they pay well. But everything has a price, and the price of freedom is security.”
