today i was thinking: maybe i don't want to eat non-homemade treats anymore.

with a homemade gifted treat, someone put it together with the intention of giving it, knowing the nutrition contents, the sugar, the salt, the protein, the fat, etc. and as a gift the intention is to be delightful and/or nourishing.

with a commercially purchased treat, the intention is to excite my senses to the extent that i immediately want more, and go buy another.

i'm not really interested in that trap right now.
