Not Friday

It's Thursday, so it's not Friday. For the kids it's summer holiday and my work partner is out on vacation so the weekdays are starting to blur a bit. But it's definitely Thursday, not a Friday.

Been to the movies last Saturday, with my love partner (the other parent of said kids), "Give me Liberty" (2019). It was the first movie at a theater since the pandemic and I (we) loved it (the movie, the theater is kinda the same apart with the blocked seats). If you like messy movies, with real people, I highly recommend it.

About guix, I moved my main workstation over to guix too. Getting autofs to work took some trail and error (need nfs-utils installed!), and my home build installation ISO did not contain the expected packages (causing the massive download I was trying to avoid) but it's working nicely now. Kinda boring really which is a good thing since this is my main *work* station. The following was very inspiring to me (my setup isn't as nicely documented and pruned):
