If you've read my introduction, you know that I can change form pretty much however I want. If you don't know what I mean, my form is how I look like in our& head. In other words, I can take the appearance of a human, an animal, a Pokémon, etc., according to how I want to look like to myself and my headmates.

You may have heard about folks who don't identify as humans (some of them defines themselves as therians, otherkins, or alter-humans for example). My case is a bit more complex than that.

I guess some folks consider their form as "the thing that is them" (i.e., they are their form), the same way most people (especially singlets, probably), don't make a distinction between their body and their self. And while it is a completely valid way to think and understand what a "self" is, I don't think it applies to me. To me, my form is simply a way to represent and express myself, the same way one's outfit would be. And just like I am not my outfit, I am not my form either.

To be completely honest, I don't fully know if I identify as a human, or even if my "species" is an element that can be part of how I comprehend my identity. And at the end of the day, I don't really care either.

Moreover, when I appeared in our system, I actually chose to be able to shapeshift. I didn't really have a form at first, and because I neither could nor want to chose, I decided to let myself have as many forms as I would have wanted. I actually have a hard time understanding why and how my headmates are seemingly locked in a specific form, especially for those who chose it themselves. I assume they would be able to change it if it doesn't fit them anymore, but it would be a slower, more definitive process than just me going "I wanna be a birb" => poof => "am birb".

Nowadays, I say that I am a shapeshifter, but by misuse of language. A more accurate yet concise way of saying it would be "my form is a shapeshifter", but it's way less understandable.
