Gemini is a work of art. I am pleased to be here.
I currently run this capsule on Agate. Couldn't be easier. I think the only thing missing is some sort of stand-in for comments. I did give Bubble/bbs.geminispace a go ( pls check my profile at u/DJ8000 to get a sense for the sort of immediate splash I made in the community ) and am definitely impressed w/ it as a service slash grand demonstration of what can be built on top of Gemini. But I think the ideal COMMENT SERVICE for me, speaking personally, is a bit slower and hackier. I'm thinking smt. like:
- delighted reader of my post emails address included at bottom of pg.
- (subject line = title of post)
- email triggers hook ( prolly via fastapi ) which appends body of delighted reader's email to end of (whateverpost).gmi file
Thoughts??? I'll probably attempt this soon. Comments to my email address above encouraged, even if you are not technically a SexyDykeInMyArea.
