beepberry

i own a fresh beepberry. its a very small device expanding a raspberry pi zero into a blackberry-ish device. in case you lived at that time already.

i will type my experiences on the device itself into this file. i will sort that by usecase.

matrix

in order to use matrix inside the terminal i went with gomuks. it still uses too many characters for the beepy display.

/toggle users

hides the right collumn. while

/toggle rooms

hides the left one. how to switch rooms then?

ctrl - k

searches room names and you can choose per TAB inside them.

ctrl is the most left button of the top row.

TAB is left alt + space.

it helps if you have set a passphrase for you cross signing keys. you can fetch them with

/cs fetch

an

/verify matrix-id device-id

verifies to another device using emojis.
