Retro gaming today, I want to enjoy a hires texture pack with my retropi and play some mario-kart that doesn't look terrible. Seems to be quite tricky to get it working with libretro and mupen64plus. Updating the retropi takes bloody forever too, too much compiling from source

Sadly, after many hours lr-mupen64plus-nx looks unable to play on the pi5 currently. I got it to cache my hires textures, but alas the renderer is refusing to load, or give an error. Bummer. Back to some world of tanks console next
