Some very few words about myself:

I love computers; I love them since I bumped into the first one, back in the late 80s (yes, I am over 40 :-)). And when i say i bumped into, this is more or less reality! I have been with my mother and brother in a then "mall" and in the games/toys floor, there was a section of computers. And I think I have seen and touched (and I left a written note in) a mac of the time, probably a Mac 512k...

As such, I love the internet of the old times! No commercials everywhere, small, clean -most of the time- webpages, no scripts underneath...

I don't know, maybe I am wrong, maybe I am old fashioned, maybe I am tired of all these heavy, energy & resources hungry internet which is mostly nonsense and where the valuable information is hidden very very deep inside.

And these days, the (new) AI era, oh boy! There are pros and cons, but unfortunately I feel the cons are more. And for sure, nothing, Nothing is for free..

You might remember the saying: "there is no such thing as the cloud, only other people computers"...

And the other one: "if you aren't paying for the product, YOU are the product."

Do you want to be the product? I can understand it, there will be always times that we are not able not to be one, but why this to be all the time?

Anyways, maybe I made it quite heavy: I think we can manage. As long as the planet manages... As long as peace and logic and justice wins...
