Hello, my name is zipsegv (previously known as thezipcreator; either name is fine), or just /zip/ for short. I'm a computer programmer who currently lives in the United States (unfortunately). I'm generally a nerd in many things, including but not limited to:
- Programming/Computer Science
- Mathematics
- Linguistics
- Worldbuilding
Some information about me:
- I don't really identify with any gender and I'm fine with any pronouns.
- Politically I consider myself an "Anarchist without adjectives"[a].
- I'm an advocate for Free and Open Source software, and all software I develop on my own terms is FOSS.
- I'm a vegetarian, although I'm considering going vegan at some point.
- I speak English natively, as well as some Spanish (around ~B1-B2 level) and toki pona (which I'm not really sure how to classify my knowledge with). I also want to learn Japanese and Mohawk[b].
- As far as video games, I'm not too much of a gamer but I do play some Minecraft, Factorio, and Beat Saber. I've also been playing through Deltarune recently.
- I'm also the third best globally in Beat Saber Golf[c] (that is, playing the game to get the /lowest/ score possible, rather than the highest, without failing). Beat Saber's scoring system is surprisingly complicated which makes Golf a fun gamemode to play.
