Living Situation
I'm based in Salerno, Italy, where I share a house with 3 flatmates.
Work
I work as a Software Developer, mostly remote from my house with a couple on-premise days a week.
The company offices aren't the easiest to reach, although they wwere recently moved closer to civilization and at least can be reached through a combination of public transport, a bicycle, and a total disregard for one's safet. I'm looking for ways to ameliorate this situation.
Hacking
I'm honestly not doing much tech-related stuff by myself right now
Cycling
My current bike is a Lombardo Amantea 200.
I've resumed properly training and am trying to get back into the shape I had last year before a broken arm forced me to stop cycling for a few months.
Reading
I've been reading:
- The Great Book of King Arthur by John Matthews, on the couch paired with some cheese and Jura 10 whiskey;
- The Worm Ouroboros by E.R. Eddison, to keep me company on public transportation;
- Salt: A World History by Mark Kurlansky, lying on the grass during bike tours and short trips.
TTRPGs
I'm a player in a BRAVE campaign, playing a chronicler.
I've been trying out new systems with one-shots and short campaigns, which is also a great way to build up a roster of people I can call up for more long term stuff.
I want to start a Kirthfinder campaign at some point in the future, but I need to clear my mind on what I want to do with it and gather the right kind of players first.
Board and Card Games
I go to a board game society twice a week to, as you may guess, play some board games. It's a bit of a recently rediscovered hobby, and I'm trying to get better at reading board states and making decisions, so I'm playing many different games and just trying to get a lot of exposure.
I've resumed playing Magic: The Gathering through a friend. My main formats right now are Commander and Primordial, although I can only play the latter online due to the small but geographically widespread community.
I'm thinking of trying Weiß Schwartz.
Videogames
I'm on a personal quest to fully complete all Crash Bandicoot games ever published. Yes, this includes Boom Bang and the Titans ones.
