Slixfeed and PubSub

Forwarding contents to Libervia and Movim.

Good evening!

Mr. Canaletti and I have made observations against PubSub nodes (XEP-0060).

PubSub

Slixfeed now automatically forwards contents to PubSub nodes.

Once a set of feeds is allocated to a given PubSub service, Slixfeed will forward new entries to nodes of that PubSub service.

This is a list of example nodes that are created and populated by Slixfeed.

Instructions

This tutorial is namely intended for service administrators, yet can be utilized also by anyone else, provided that the account of your instance of Slixfeed has access to a PubSub node on its respective server.

Ad-Hoc

A tutorial for use with Ad-Hoc Commands.

• Navigate to Advanced > Administration > PubSub;

• Select a PubSub service;

• Navigate to Subscribe;

• Input the subscription to field Subscription; and

• Input the JID address of the PubSub service of your choice to field Subscriber.

A tutorial for use with chat interface.
