DEV BLOG - Week 48 of 2021
Sunday, November 28th
I began the week by studying crypto. I also tested the cron on Spectre to make sure it worked. At first I thought it failed, but it turned out that I had just typoed on the front page.
I also hooked back into fractional investing.
Monday, November 29th
Bought a few shares of stock.
Tuesday, November 30th
Found out my TSJ site had lost the SSL cert. It was a four hour battle that led me to the discovery that ghost has put in some dysfunctional shitstain called acme to gum up the works. Once I finally got my brain wrapped around that, I switched it back to certbot with `certbot --nginx`.
Went poking around for a way to sell items for crypto and came across a thing called OpenBazaar. After an hour or so of being excited, I discovered it's now closed. But there is another.
Wednesday, December 1st
We went on a fish run to pick up a betta. This was a four hour driving adventure. I am writing a post on what happened next.
Thursday, December 2nd
Bought three courses on Udemy for Python programming. Looks like I'm back to the 100 Days thing.
Friday, December 3rd
stuff.
Saturday, December 4th
I ripped everything apart and put it back together in a different way. I was running out of room, and I think this will make things better.
Takeaways
- I need to come up with a better way to keep notes in a quick reach database in linux.
- I have a new coding partner that isn't a rubber duckie.
