Il faut noter que si une Hero 11 permet de prendre 2 photos par seconde, la Max est limitée à 1 photo toutes les 2 secondes, ce qui la rend moyennement adaptée à des vitesses de déplacement élevées (plus de 30 km/h) Pour capter le maximum d'information, une GoPro Max est plus adaptée

Pour de la qualité, au dépend du champs de vision : Hero 11. Dans tous les cas, oui, il est question d'une nouvelle GoPro Max d'ici la fin de l'année. Mais ce n'est pas sûr à 100%. Nous sommes nombreux à s'impatienter :-)

Avec mon empreinte actuelle à 2 t, chaque riche que je tuerais me rendrais carbon neutral pour 20 ans. Pour 3 d'entre eux je le serais à vie. Sur l'hypothèse — erronée — que le mode de vie médian implique une empreinte de 4 t (Global carbon budget, Our world in data 2023), alors effectivement devenir végétalien et se débarasser de sa voiture ne permet qu'un gain de 2 t. Il faudrait ainsi que 20 personnes fassent la transition pour compenser l'empreinte de la 680 000e personne la plus riche de France. Imaginons que ces 680 000 personnes aient toutes une empreinte individuelle de 40 t — faux, puisque Bernard Arnault serait à 8000 t —, éliminer leur empreinte collective reviendrait à 27 Mt d'économisés sur les quelques 370 Mt annuels du pays (Bilan 2023, HautConseilClimat 2024) soit 7 %.

À noter que la Stratégie Nationale Bas Carbone vise à un développement des solutions de capture augmentant les capacités de 25 à 82 Mt d'ici 2050. « Crâmer les [1% les plus] riches » ne suffirait pas à atteindre la neutralité carbone. Bluetooth

Polarized

When light reflects off of water it is horizontally polarized ( w ). All "anti-glare" polarized sunglasses are vertically polarized to block that light. (If there were polarized at any other angle at least some of that "glare" would leak through).

Most LCD panels are designed so that the light exiting the panel is also vertically polarized, so they look as bright as possible even to someone wearing polarized sunglasses. Le décret du 29 novembre 2024 ajoute que les éléments réfléchissants sont à présent utilisables sans limitation : « Tout cycle ou toute remorque équipant un cycle peut être muni de dispositifs fluorescents ou rétroréfléchissants latéraux passifs supplémentaires. »

Pour le contexte je viens de m’équiper avec une Max2 et avait besoin de matériel supplémentaire pour la monter sur la voiture à savoir :

Support à aimant (j’aime pas l’idée des ventouses)

Câble de sécurité (en pratique j’ai encore pas correctement planifié son intérêt)

Perche

Autres bricoles pour déplacer mon ancienne Hero11 à l’avant et creuser la piste de l’état de chaussée.

Étant un chouilla parano j’ai quand même fait deux trois calculs en amont. En considérant les dimensions d’une Max2 de profil, je serai confronté à un frottement à l’air maximal de 6,3 N (où 650 g).

À ça j’ai ajouté également le cas de freinage d’urgence idéal avec adhérence totale des pneus à 9,62 N (980 g).

Dans le choix du support j’ai voulu un design « ouvert », qui soit à la fois réparable, mais aussi adaptable avec des aimants plus puissants si nécessaires. J’ai trouvé mon bonheur sur AliExpress (pas de lien, on en trouve à la pelle).

Après la théorie, la phase pratique. Si possible sans mettre en jeu ma caméra toute neuve sur autoroute. J’ai fait une simulation hautement scientifique sur mon frigo de cuisine avec un poids de 1 kg que j’avais sous la main. Test concluant au fait que le système aimant, base, support, et câble résistent à une charge perpendiculaire.

J’ai également testé avec un récipient d’eau. J’ai trouvé une limite à 1280 g à partir de laquelle les aimants ne suffisent plus et commencent à glisser sur le frigo.

Idem pour la perche, repliée à 50 cm, où l’effet de levier ne semble pas suffisant pour dépasser la capacité des aimants (pas fait de calculs cette fois). Pas testé dépliée, je n’utiliserai probablement pas les 3 m (oui oui) sur le toit de la voiture. Comme souligné ailleurs, le facteur limitant semble également se situer à l’interface entre la perche et le support. J’imagine que ça pourrait faire l’objet d’un renfort à coup de tubes PVC qui s’emboîteraient avec la base, mais c’est pas dans mes priorités.
