Square sauteed potatoes
Good with steak or fish
Ingredients for 4
- 7-8 potatoes (the starchy kind)
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 tsp coarse salt
- 2 Tbsp vegetable oil
- Pepper
- (optional) Butter
Instructions
- Peal the potatoes, dice them and keep them in cold water for 10 mins.
- Rince the potatoes under cold water and dry them out using a clean cloth.
- Heat up the oil in a large pan on medium-high, add the coarse salt
- Sauté the potatoes during 30 mins, turning regularly
- When almost done, add the garlic, then the butter if using.
- Potatoes are ready when they are melting and soft but also fried.
