Nest Box Pi Camera

I've begun my project to create anestbox with a camera that provides
images and videos of the box's occupants. The core of the setup is a
Raspberry Pi Zero W. I purchased an IR sensative camera to provide better
images in lowlight conditions. My plan is to hook up a motion sensor so
that the camera isn't running all the time and using power.
Let's talk about power. The location of the nest box will be in thr forest
near my home. I don't have a feasible, pretty way to run power out there.
I'm going to have to rely on a remote power source. A solar charging
battery system seems like the most feasible. The cost of the project is
important. I'm looking at a 25,000maH usb chargers with a built in,
foldable solar array. My hope is that I can keep the Pi's current draw at
a lower level than the battery can recharge.
I'm worried about water intrusion as an issue and will probably use a
small waterproof case to hold the Pi and possibly the camera. I'll have to
put holes in the case for at least power input if not the camera cable as
well.
I'm hoping to have this up and running by early spring to catch a nest of
chicadees or titmice.
