2 Out of 3 Ain't Bad
I'm actually just testing out an template-generating script but I'm choosing to do it by talking about the past weekend's football games. I was really looking forward to the Bills vs. the Ravens because two of my favorite non-Dallas Cowboy players are Josh Allen and Derrick Henry. Unfortunately, that game sucked, partly because the Bills receivers couldn't catch anything but, either way, the outcome was never in doubt. On the other hand, how about that Georgia-Alabama game? I mean, first of all, it's Georgia and Alabama and, second of all, it was a knock-down drag-out heavyweight back-and-forth where both teams had lapses but showed incredible skill and perseverance. Then, while the Lions and Seahawks are no Georgia-Bama, it was still incredible, with Goff having a game for the ages, running backs going crazy (how about that backflip over the defender?), a receiver completing a touchdown pass to a quarterback so that the whole team stayed perfect, and so on. I read on CBSSports that this was the first perfect-completion game since 1942 when the Giants also had a perfect completion percentage... by throwing and completing a single pass.
(That's one thing Gemini really needs, is a news/sports operation that can put stuff out in Gemini form. I love reading the news and sports through stargate.gemi.dev but there is a lot of poorly formatted noise because the web page is so poorly coded in just HTML terms. Still, there was certainly a lot of noise reading it even with javascript and everything else turned off in my browser. None of it compares to the noise of the default settings of everything, though. Anyway!...)
Hell of a pair of games, great fun!
(And, simple as it is, the script seems to be doing what I want it to.)
