Software
Here's some little programs I've written.
Send me an e-mail if you find any bugs, preferably with a patch file attached to fix it.
I wanted brightness keys on dwm, but xbacklight doesn't appear to work on NetBSD, so I made this program. It probably won't work for other operating systems, but if you try, send me an e-mail and I'll update this page. Actually, even if you only try it on NetBSD, please do still send me an e-mail about it, since I've only tested this on one machine. It takes one argument, which is either: "+", adds 5 to brightness; "-", removes 5 from brightness; or a number, which the brightness gets set to. It should be owned by root and its setuid bit should be set, as this program is meant to allow changing brightness without su or doas. Also, if you know of another way to set the brightness as a regular user, I'd love to know.
