HTTPS image: There are 4532 capsules. We successfully connected recently to 3091 of them.

Three months ago (a bit less than that) Lupa saw over 3,000 active Gemini capsules and Geminispace has been very active on Sunday. The tally is fast approaching 3,100 (see above) or an addition of more than one capsule per day in "net gain" (some may also go offline at any time, but on balance it's growing).

Somebody responded a few days ago to claims that Gemini Protocol was dying or stagnating. The data does not support such contentions. Judging by our own server logs, in gemini:// we served well over 300,000 requests this past week alone.

Gemini Protocol is being obscured by the media - it doesn't help that Google 'hijacked' the word "Gemini" - but people still manage to find out about it, download a client, and use it. █
