Defaming, Impersonating, Hijacking Accounts is Abusive If Not Illegal/Criminal Behaviour

This is a lot more than just harassment, but enforcing a defamation verdict against American citizens is not trivial (when they're parked in the US)

Today's relatively short report deals with events that happened in 2023, months before the vandal and saboteur had the audacity to issue threats (after he had been banned belatedly, not just for persistent abuse in IRC but even much worse things).

issue threats

There are actual victims here, victims of defamation and some would say even "fraud" (when impersonating people it's not merely insulting them) by the Microsofter. We got many E-mails from victims. They don't think that it's funny when someone who boasts about wanting to stab and punch people is recklessly defaming them by hijacking their own names. The Microsofter clearly thinks he's above the law and that because he disagrees on matters like politics, then it makes it OK to do anything he wants and then spout out expletives to make it seem like it's all "for fun" and "joking". Well, the circus stops now [1, 2]. M.J.G. got sued.

Here are examples of what we're talking about.

The impersonation tactic by M.J.G. was observed and also well documented. He openly said in the #techrights channel of our own network (using his own name and authenticated user, M.J.G.) that was it “fun” as he adopted other people’s names and then posted nasty things using their names.

People then complained that M.J.G. was tarnishing their name by saying things using their supposed identities. To call this “Internet trolling” would be an understatement.

Here is an example for one victim:

"mjg59_is now known as bagira"

“It's funny”

As we pointed out some months ago, there's also some 'privilege escalation' going on somewhere in Cambridge, creating E-mail accounts or aliases named after our webhost for extra intimidation against this webhost [1, 2], putting aside trademark concerns and possible impersonation/phishing angles.

We'll revisit this point several times in the future and maybe pursue an investigation into who in Cambridge (or ucam.org; it's connected to Owen Dunn and he's in Chiark, hence connected to the Debian people; Ian Jackson et al, who typically favour censorship of whatever isn't convenient*) facilitated such sinister people who openly speak about work on code for "Sexual Favours" (it's not a joke, doing so would also be a crime in the UK in many contexts).

Debian and Cambridge (or the University of Cambridge) cannot just easily distance themselves from such despicable people and their abhorrent actions.

What we're dealing with here is electronic abuse and online harassment of many people, including potential violations of cyberlaw.

We have a lot more left to show (the above is just a teaser) and there's no deadline for the content to be covered. So just summarising it all, and moreover reinforcing the points we wish readers to take away, Microsofters would:

seek help from Microsoft staff with Microsoft salaries
HTTPS: arrested
strangling women
HTTPS: seriously illegal business activities

A lot of this is also connected to a $9,000,000,000 lawsuit against Microsoft. Mr. Graveley apparently got subpoenas for what he had done.

Bad people don't just disappear when exposed. First, they attack the messengers. █

This is why Linus Torvalds leads Linux and Ian Jackson has not led anything important - not even Debian - for decades. Jackson was among those trying to 'cancel' Torvalds.
