One of these days I need to remember to export my credentials and import them into LaGrange on my other computers, so I don't disappear from here for so long. o.O

I actually found that in Lagrange I can just make an archive and use that to transfer my credentials to copies of Lagrange on my other hardware. Super easy. :) But thanks for all the replies. · 11 months ago
@hanzbrix good point, one doesn't need that often! Except for bookmarks — I maintain mine in amfora and those are under version control. Every once in a while I check out that repo on the machine where my capsule is hosted and use a simple Python script to convert xbel format to normal gemtext with links — in Lagrange I have that page bookmarked and marked as a source of bookmarks, so it brings them in. A bit clunky compared to something like Firefox Sync, but I can live with that 😁 · 11 months ago
@hanzbrix It's sad that you can't put Lagrange's configuration files under version control. Because you can't make them symlinks — it only reads them once on the next startup, but it doesn't write to the symlinked file, instead it deletes the link and creates a normal file in its place 🤪
I haven't tried making its config directory itself a repository though — not as comfy to use, but it might work 🤔 · 11 months ago
@hanzbrix I'll have to look into that, thanks. :) · 11 months ago
