DOOM: The Dark Ages now works on LInux, Valve has put a fix into Proton Experimental, so just select that under compatability before you run it and you should be good.
There are still some bugs in the game, and issues with video drivers that will cause it to crash some, but those are effecting everyone, and will eventually have to be fixed by AMD, Nvidia, and id. Rip and tear my fellow Linux gamers. :)
