My daughter just turned 8, and one of her birthday gifts was a tiny thermal printer - the kind that spits out little notes, stickers and Sudokus with no ink, just magic.

She loved it ... for about a day.

Now I'm the one using it constantly for a lot of stuff.

I was interested by this, also the thermal instant cameras for a nephew but I read somewhere that thermal papers were almost all loaded with BPAs and those that claim to be BPA free would contain stuff that has similar properties anyway. Exposure to BPA from thermal paper would be much much higher than the regular exposure we get with food packaging and some say cashiers should all wear gloves. This gave me a pause and I never bought one. · 5 months ago
