chatgpt can be nice if you don't have strong coding abilities, but it can also be a PITA when it does something wrong and you have to debug the code by yourself. it's refreshing when you can correct it and tell to remember what it did wrong, tho :)

only that for stackoverflow you have to search for and browse a whole lot of different posts before findind the right solution, unless it's really trivial that maybe even stackoverflow isn't needed. I know these LLM just grab content over the Internet, it's not their own merit, but chatgpt does it pretty good - and it's fine for me. · 1 year ago

The problem is, that LLM generate worse code over time and if you don't see if the code has bugs. nevertheless, LLMs can't code. they just copy text together... · 1 year ago
