How do I get to add a "profile image"? I'm still learning how this "Station" platform works. There's this "add image" link at the bottom of my profile, but I can't for the life of me get it to work. Trying to set up one got rid of the alien ASCII art on my profile, but the setting asks for a jpg image. Which I can provide but won't show up. How do I add an image? And how do I add an ASCII art?

Still nothing. I must be doing something wrong. The image is tiny, both in dimensions and size, is smaller than 500 KB, is hosted on an HTTPS server... · 2 months ago

I had to use very small images - like tiny - to get it to work right. In my case it was a png. Station is processing the image using essentially a dithering algorithm that uses ascii letters so you don't have direct control of the process. Might need to futz a few times. · 3 months ago
It doesn't upload the actual image; it turns the image you upload into ASCII art. It might not look clear if the image itself has a lot of colours or is hard to translate otherwise so I suggest uploading an image that has high contrast/is pure linework. · 3 months ago
