Some numbers.

So far, the cited (by Ukrainians, Russia pretends they don't exist) number of killed Russian soldiers is ~4300. In 3 days.

The total count of Soviet soldiers killed in Afghanistan over ten fucking years is 13833.

The total count of Russian soldiers killed in the Second Chechen War over almost three years is 4572.

I have no words to add to that, only gestures.
