First world problems: I'm having to add a terminal + vim toggle to switch between dark and light schemes as I am working from the beach too much and can't see code in dark mode.

@danrl I was technically sat just back off the beach, in the shade, and thankfully the sand isn't a problem so long as the wind is low. · 8 months ago
I have a shell script that checks what hour it is every 15 minutes running in the background. When it's over 10PM, but less than 10AM, it runs Alacritty's config through sed to change the theme to Solarized Dark and during the day it switches to Zenburn. In Vim I don't have dynamic switching, but I have a similar check in .vimrc, so it switches to the corresponding theme on startup, I can switch them manually with F4 too. · 8 months ago
