The most recent update for my smartphone silently changed a setting that affected how the power key functioned. When I pressed and held the button, instead of opening the power menu, it now tried to open the Samsung digital assistant. I had already removed the assistant as part of debloating, so the result was that holding power key did nothing. I got pretty nervous thinking I could no longer shut down or restart my phone!

i had a better update today, they added STICKERS to sms at me and fixed OS reboot with "generic" app crash if something crashes - like gps "driver" , also made it a bit faster and a bit less glitchy - except of few drivers which are just badly setted up (and stay like that for months already when i should have fixed them long time ago, lol).

at me also samsung but i replaced android with ubuntu so i know that worst thing can be is a bugged driver, or waydroid crashing tbh (but possibly not any $#!&&* antifeature)…
