@half_elf_monk I suspect that and the ability to grease the right palms with a few coin. I guess there are all kinds of physical and legal systems you'd have to have in place aligned with existing nations to integrate with the global banking systems too. Once the money/trade is flowing I'm sure they'd welcome you as a bone fide paid up member of the country club. · 8 months ago

I'm fascinated by the idea of this sort of thing. What would it take, practically speaking, for a micronation to get recognized by other governments? In all actuality, I'm guessing it's having the capacity to project force greater than the interest in capturing the physical territory. Is that too cynical? · 8 months ago
