I got an Alphasmart Neo, this interesting device will be used as a low-end technology typewriter... I got it for my son, so he can focus on writing away from the laptop, I am thinking to get another to me as well to better focus on my capsule... 🤔

I like the idea... it's like those old organizers that had a contact list, calendar, planner and notes · 5 months ago
@sava it resembles the GDP Poket, however it did not impress me, especially the eink screen, that appears extremely slow. I already realized the epaper screen is not a feasible route. · 5 months ago

Helix for coding
MC as filemanager
Telescope Gemini browser

that's a nice device... I know it from one of Joe van Cleave's videos. I have a Canon TypeStar 10-II which I use with a roll of thermal fax paper for shopping lists and misc. My daughter (almost 8) loves writing on it and glue what she writes in her journal. I have rechargeable Duracell batteries for it and of the original transformer (UK with an adapter for EU). I love it so much that I hope that my daughter will pass it on to her children · 6 months ago
