@mrwrite You have a point. Diversified feedback is good and can actually be helpful. At the same time, sparking a meaningful exchange of opinions in a web which is so content-saturated is very hard! I like it here though. Everything is simpler and human interaction, despite not using our real names, no profile pictures, etc, feels more human than ever :) · 9 months ago

I think that approval is valuable to know the worth of your work. What if you were terrible, but the only feedback you received was from your mother? You could continue to do crappy work and not know it. But it is not perfect. If you only throw pearls before swine, you may think that you suck when you don't. And now 'attention' is filling up with robots and algorithms. · 9 months ago
